Here are pictures that I took from PAX. I can't get the video uploaded yet because YouTube was having issues last night. Enjoy!!

Today was the final two rounds of the Omegathon.
Round 5 was Jenga. I've never seen a game take a half an hour. They were SO stressful, even for the people watching them. Crazy intense.
Round 6 was the surprise round. It was Vs. Excitebike. They played best of 7 rounds. The guy who won (Joey Geko) won four in a row.
In cool news, Andy and I are in the background of a picture on Wired. The guy in the foreground was the winner.

Andy got eliminated during Round 3 this morning. He got stuck in one of the hardest of the four groups and just barely lost. :(
I'm proud of him either way.

Andy made it through round 1 and round 2 yesterday.
Round 1 was Peggle. The top 16 made it through to round 2. Andy was #16. It was a little stressful, but worked out fine.
Round 2 was Boom Blox. Andy made it through in the first round of a double-elimination game.
I'll post more later, but wanted to let people know. We're headed down for Round 3 (Geometry Wars Evolved) soon.
Also, I got to see Felicia Day and Jonathan Coulton sing "Still Alive" last night. :)
ETA: Posting links isn't working for me right now. I'll try again later.

Andy and I are in Seattle for the weekend and for PAX. The trip yesterday was crazy.
Our itinerary (all local times):
4:25 - 6:19: RIC -> DTW
7:10 - 8:20: DTW -> MSP
9:30 - 11:06: MSP -> SEA
We got to the airport around 2:30. Had no problems checking in or getting the luggage checked. Really, the only issue was that we couldn't sit together on the first two flights, but not the end of the world. We went upstairs, had some coffee, hung out, and went through security. All completely uneventful. We boarded the plane and they closed the door. Then we sat...and sat...for an HOUR at the gate. They were trying to reroute around weather. Not cool!!
We got to Detroit around 6:40 and waited for them to get the gate lined up. That took forever. Got off the plane, got handed an alternate itinerary should we not make the connector to Minneapolis and then SPRINTED through the Detroit airport. Had to go from C to the end of the A terminal. Not fun. We made it just before they finished boarding. So happy. I couldn't breathe, but at least we made it.
We made it into Minneapolis early and had an hour before they started boarding again. So we got some dinner and hung out. I really like the Minneapolis airport.
When they started boarding, Andy and I waited towards the end because we didn't want to sit on the plane much longer than we had to. We got up to the front of the line and they scanned the boarding pass...which said we were not checked in! Apparently, they canceled our Minneapolis to Seattle flight even though we made the flight in Detroit. Thankfully, they had room and hadn't given all the seats to stand-by passengers. We got pretty good seats - behind the bulkhead so we had extra leg room - and had a fairly uneventful flight.
The time change sucks, though.
Tomorrow starts PAX and Andy as an Omeganaut!!
